GReddy Heritage Collection - Featuring the historic GReddy 962 Group C racecar form the early 90's... The car has been immortalized in scale models and even Hotwheels.
The TRUST Racing Team came to prominence in the early 1980's competing with Porsche 956's in the Japan Sports Prototype Championship (JSPC) with drivers like Vern Schuppan and Yoshimi Katayama. They were successful with Schuppan placing second in the championship in 1983 and third in 1984, 1985, and 1986. By mid decade they were also competing at Le Mans and selected World Sports Prototype Championship (WSPC) events. In Europe, they joined forces with Courage Competition. In 1991 the TRUST Racing Team ordered two new cars form the Porsche factory to be delivered to Japan. Both of these cars were part of the last group of 962s built by the Porsche factory. The first car chassis no. 962-166 was the main racecar, with the other as a spare.
The main car was raced in the 1991 World Sports Prototype Championship
On April 14th - Suzuka, G. Fouche and S. Andskar finished 5th overall and on October 27th - Autopolis, 8th overall, before the Team switched to the famous Toyota 92C V
